These naturally dyed eggs are just too beautiful not to use as a center piece for your table scape any time of the year. Decorated eggs are not just for Easter anymore!
Get the look using silk materials, herbs, flowers, dandelions, leaves, etc.
Dip a raw white egg in water so the materials will stick to them.
Wrap the wet egg with the materials you have gathered and secure them with onion skin (yellow or red) and wrap tightly with a string.
Boil wrapped eggs for 30 minutes. Add extra onion skins to the water while boiling.
Cool hot eggs in cold water. Unwrap and enjoy!
These are for decorative purposes only! Do NOT eat. While you are using all natural materials that would not necessarily be harmful to you, the eggs are boiled for an excessive amount of time and will not be edible.
This bowl lined with natural, dried grass makes the perfect center piece for any table.
